New Wave doors

New Wave slide and swing patio doors installed by Mendip ConservatoriesSlide and swing patio doors

Slide and Swing doors are the latest development in patio door technology, offering the flexibility of opening as many or as few panels as you desire.

Creating a storm on the home improvement scene, these tall and slim panels can replace tired-looking patio doors or even be integrated into the walls of a new conservatory or orangery.

How do New Wave doors work?

Simple to operate, New Wave Door panels are attached by strong magnetic strips so that each leaf can slide separately along a track for an effortless opening and closing motion. Once slid into place at the end of the track, each panel can be lifted outwards in a swinging motion to stack neatly next to the wall.

Benefits of New Wave doors

  • Just as secure as our bi-folding or traditional in-line patio doors
  • Fitting parts are concealed within the design, so there are no chunky hinges or handles spoiling the aesthetics
  • New Wave Doors can accommodate a range of glass options, including self-cleaning glass, more thermally efficient glass and solar control glass
  • Easy assembly for a quick fitting at your property
  • Double glazed panes and tight fitting panels create an extremely weather-tight door
